Adegboyega started his accounting career with
KPMG Audit (Chartered Accountants) in 1983 and qualified
as a Chartered Accountant in 1987. He is an experienced chartered accountant with over 33 years’ experience of working in accountancy practice, the public and private sectors.
Adegboyega had his working experience with KPMG Audit, The Audit Commission, UK National Audit Office, Ernst and Young UK LLP and Grant Thornton UK LLP. His skills encompass auditing, accounting, insolvency, financial management, corporate governance, business start-ups and all aspects of tax management. He is a fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (FCCA) and the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (FCA) and holds MBA in Financial Management & Business Administration.

Samuel had his working experience with KPMG Audit (Chartered Accountants), J. K. Randle & Co. (Chartered Accountants) and Eri–Eco International Limited. With his wealth of experience, he has been a key team member in various audit assignments of banks, insurance companies, manufacturing companies, construction companies, financial services, educational institutions, public sectors, and NGOs. His other area of specialisation includes, financial advisory services, taxation, corporate governance and management consulting and handling the implementation of accounting software such as: Sage 50 (Peachtree Accounting); DacEasy; QuickBooks, Express Accounts, Financial Modelling, Small Business Accounting, etc..
He holds a B.Sc. in Accounting and MBA in Business Administration. He is an Associate Chartered Accountant (ACA), Associate Chartered Management Accountant (ACMA), Associate Chartered Taxation Institute (ACTI), Associate Chartered Economist (ACE), Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and Member Institute of Management Consultants (MIMC). He is a specialist on financial report of which he holds the Certificate in International Financial Reporting (CertIFR) from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN). He bagged the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN) price award of “Balogun J.O. Omidiora on Public Sector Accounting & Finance”.
